Partial Vs. Full Highlights

Patricia Loran

Remembering the film being shot in Spain 40 years ago, I would recall the figure of an actress who for nearly 10 years participated in several films of English cinema from 1965 to 1974, and has never had any kind of public recognition of his career as a film actress of the day: I'm talking about Patricia Loran, whose real name is Encarnación García García, born in Granada in December 1946.

Its beginnings
His career within the world of cinema began in the mid 60's when he moved with his parents to Barcelona, \u200b\u200bwhere in 1965, enters the school actors "Fernando Esposito and Julio Coll to train as an actress, (coinciding with the famous actress and TV presenter, Silvia Tortosa). That same year, and participates in the movies Tomb for an outlaw, and Death in Spring The Punisher in which debuts as a hero with a great performance quality as the film's director, Joan Bosch.

In 1966 he joined the cast of the film Her Name is Daphne Germain filmed and directed by Lorente in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Girona) and in 1967 participated in the film Love in the Air, starring Rocío Dúrcal.

early 70

Since 1970 participates in horror films as The Vampire of the Highway, Jack the Ripper in London and Crimes Petiot, led by José Luis Madrid Vine, (1933-1999).
Her last apparition on the big screen was in the film Seven Jackals in 1974, also directed by José Luis Madrid.

Today, I still can not locate the whereabouts of the actress but as retired players who knew her in a taxi, you should be living in Madrid.

Reig In the words of Francisco Riera, supporting actor who worked with her in two films: "Patricia Loran bellezón and a woman (Germain Lorente, director of Her name is Daphne, Claudia called it the English, for its resemblance with the then splendid star Claudia Cardinale) is one of Hollywood's more experiential and intuitive English film of its time. A real shame not been given more coverage and better use to his career. Actresses well below its physical interpretation and because it had a Latin beauty bright, high-impact design and have achieved greater recognition that it so far. It is time to do justice to Patricia Loran and place in a privileged place in the history of English cinema from the golden 60. "
